Now this: Saying that Jesus is God, and that God's NAME is Jesus sounds the same; but it's not, if the Father and the son have the same NAME! I still believe that some folks are stumbling on the NAME.

I disagree. Father and Son having the same Name implies one person. I think you are confusing titles, for ryour words do make sense if you are saying the title Father must not be the title Son.

well, i might say the same of you; i am not condemning whole populations to hell, at any rate! but this is a forum, and i don't expect to be agreed with all the time (although one would think there are "Basic Christian Values" that all would understand, it just doesn't seem to play out like that in real life).

So, i guess it depends upon how theologistical one wants to define "oneness." No, i am not interested in it becoming a point of division/contention betwixt me and trinnies. et al. My point was that the whole debate on the matter seems to be just that, a contentious, circular debate; which i take for a signal that neither side has a very good handle on the matter. The more i see the discussion repeated, the more convinced i become that it is from satan, an imaginary, pointless divide.

Who loves their neighbors more, Oneies or Trinnies? is all i care about--and the Doctorates be damned, wadr.
