Word for Faith!
Are you a Christian who's down on yourself and feeling like a loser? You need to learn the Gospel! When you were saved, your goodness could not save you. You knew Jesus had to save you with His goodness in standing in your place on the cross. So, why think YOUR goodness or lack thereof means anything AFTER you're saved? When the Bible says we are in Christ, it means we continue to stand in His goodness and not our own when we stand before God's scrutiny. Get used to looking at yourself everyday as one whose personal goodness means nothing to God, and that you are in HIS goodness and HIS righteousness. That is remaining in Christ! And when attacks of depression and inferiority come, they mean nothing to you, since you know it has nothing to do with your goodness, anyway. You are in HIS GOODNESS!

Sorta been touching on this in online bible study. We were talking about if God is in judgement mode right now. Overall we felt no--but--Ananias & Sapphira who were struck dead for lying makes one wonder.
This is a good subject. On youtube Irvin Baxter has a video "you are perfect" that may compliment this subject.

I like it.
"I write unto you little children, because your sins have been forgiven
you for his name's sake..."
What is the responsibility of the "little children"? It is not the responsibility of
the little children; rather, it is the responsibility of the Church! We are to
care for, nurture, and cleanse our children. As they grow up in that atmosphere,
they will mature in the faith and, in due time, take their place in caring for, nurturing, and
cleansing the little ones.
We must be careful not to give children responsibility too soon, or when
they are not ready for: "Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride..."
