I guess I was confused because some of the other posters were making fun of her....especially after I listened and found most of what she was saying was pretty much on target. Not sure about the song part, though. I think God wants to be sure we really know his word more because eventually they will be banning bibles.

True most have a wrong end time vision so they dont know when the Lord is trying to speak to them. The part about her calling forth musicians was personal to her. I believe it to be true it has come to pass many times over.

Well, that makes sense if that part was personal to her... God directs us all in different ways. I know God showed me to stay in his word, stay close with my husband, and not let myself get distracted from Him by the things that were coming.

What makes me sad is that this girl likely has not been baptized in Jesus name. I hope her ears are open to hear that.

Yep, probably after she ate that pepperoni/bacon, and anchovie pizza, she woke up with a shaking, plus a devastating time in the rest room. I just hope no one was close by with ears to hear or nose to smell.

That's just the way it goes these days, some individual who supposedly believes in some form of Christianity comes up with a doomsday dream and we are all supposed to swallow it as Gospel. So, let me get this right, she gets a dream from God, but nothing about what she needs to do for salvation? But Cornelius is sent an angel, and that angel tells him to call for the preacher to hear words of salvation. Sister, I think what you are seeing is more than some focus on eschatology. If they don't have baptism in Jesus name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost then their pizza dream is the least of their problems.

Well, you may have a disdain for charismatics and attribute the things the Lord shows them to certain foods going through their digestive systems, but I don't share your disdain and I know better than to believe pizza is the great influencer of a charismatic's dreams.

I used to be one of them. There are those that have a counterfeit spirit and those that don't. I did not have a counterfeit one. A counterfeit spirit would have never got me here.

I was taught by my charismatic pastor to seek the Lord and His word no matter what came from the pulpit. I was hungry for the Lord and keep seeking Him. The Lord showed me many things even then. It wasn't pizza.

I asked the Lord to show me truth no matter what. The spirit I had, and still do, is the same one that said to me one day almost 16 year ago, "You do everything else in my name. Why not baptized?" God opened my eyes.

If she is still hungry, and if she really desires truth, He can do the same for her... and no one will be able to unconvince her, just the same as they cannot unconvince me.

Sister, this is what I'm talking about! YOU asked for truth and got something, not some vision of a Zombie Apocalypse. My views on what she was doing had nothing to do with what group she was with, because frankly they all are the same in the Industrial Church Complex. My beef is that we focus on more mumbo jumbo coming out of someone because it sort of fits some pet teaching we might hold, but forget the main thing is salvation. Here is she saying that she is getting a prophetic dream but nothing on salvation? No, Sister thank God for your hunger and prayers for truth in Jesus name.

I just thank God you weren't running around the church parking lot telling people dreams of impending doom. All while you hadn't a clue on truth.

Amen. I was a "Charismatic" for 4 years before being baptized in Jesus name and it was a year after that before I understood Oneness fully.

As a Charismatic among the Jesus People I had dreams that came to pass just like I still do. I had answered prayers just as I do now. I had leading of the Holy Spirit just as I do now. My friends had many of the same experiences.

Some "Apostolics" count that all as NOTHING. I like you was LED by the Holy Spirit to ultimately come to baptism in Jesus name and Oneness.

That is one thing I agree with the UPC. They say the FULL STANDARD of salvation is Acts 2:38. To me its absurd to say one has the Holy Ghost baptism and they are not at least partly saved.

I have always felt the Spirit baptism is the HIGH POINT of the 3 step plan of salvation.

There are Charismatics that walk closer to God than "Apostolics". Some of them are more Christ like than some Apostolics.

I certainly dont give people ASSURANCE of final salvation apart from the Oneness message. I continually teach Oneness doctrine to anyone who will listen.

Neither would I give ASSURANCE to Apostolics who dont walk in truth or in Gods will.

And also I am not sure Misty is not baptized in Jesus name. I have SEEN people be baptized in Jesus name at IHOP. I have HEARD with my ears one of the teachers teach Acts 2:38 as the plan of salvation.

Afterwards down the road the Pastor seemed to quench that truth from coming forth to his shame but it is not a sure thing she is not baptized in Jesus name.

Okay. I see your point.... and, yes, you are right on that. So many are more focused on church things that do nothing for their soul. Nevermind that the Bible says that we are to worship God in spirit AND in TRUTH.

But you can see where I have a soft spot for these. So many perishing. Even that pastor is still charismatic and probably still following the likes of Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyers and T.D. Jakes. *sigh*

This coming from one whose pet teaching is that Jesus came in 70ad. As if Jesus would be leading anyone to believe that.

We are warned about such teaching plainly NOT being from the Holy Spirit.
