You're right. Just funny watching the poll numbers go up, when pundits and GOP establishment was sure he would have to leave the race after his comments about illegals. And again after his comments about McCain. And again after his comments about Megyn Kelly.

Re: Trump 2016
I mentioned to one of my coworkers that Trump has a bigger ego than Obama. He tried to correct me that I meant Bush, not Obama....

It kind of makes you want him to win, doesn't it?

There is one difference between Trump and obama's egos: Trump has a reason to have an ego, obama does not. obama did nothing before becoming POTUS. Trump has risen, fell and risen time and again. He's built businesses and corporations, when obama hung with his choomba gang, smoking pot.
Both are egotistical, but only Trump has good cause to be.

Great point! Obama is a creation of the modern media.

Re: Trump 2016
Read this morning that Trump is going to Mobile, Alabama and claims he will have thirty or forty thousand people fill the Ladd-Peebles football stadium.
Organizers had reserved a hall with a capacity of 2,000, but Trump claims ticket demands far exceeded the capacity. Then they thought about having the rally at the Mobile Civic Center, which seats 10,000, but Trump is Trump. So the rally will be held at the stadium.
Oh, and there's rain in the forecast for the weekend, but no word on a backup site in case of bad weather.

I'm sure he has a backup plan.
So, Trump is beating Ted Cruz, in TEXAS, by 8 points right now.
Allen West is talking about hearing they might campaign together. What do you think about that? They're calling it the dream team. Interesting to see if that plays out. You know Trump ain't gonna be anyone's VP.

Would Cruz settle for being a VP? Especially Trump's VP? That would be a bit risky for Cruz, not really knowing how Trump would govern.
There was an article about him in some magazine recently where they asked if he would be a VP and he said no.

Cruz has a tremendous ground game in place - it's long term. I'm not looking at anything seriously until next year.
As I've stated, the only candidate I refuse to vote for is Jeb Bush. If Trump were able to win the nomination, I would vote for him. As far as disagreeing with him on social issues, he is solid on economic and military issues. That couldn't harm us and I don't think he would impose on our religious freedom, although he's made some pretty dumb statements about "drinking my little wine and have my little cracker". Also, he talks about his pastor, Norman Vincent Peale - he was an old man when he signed one of his books for me in San Antonio, Texas, and I know I was 18 years old at the time. LOL! Really dumb, but he brushed if off as joking around.

Re: Trump 2016
I don't get how Trump isn't getting the rich, white man criticism Romney got. Romney tried playing his riches down, but Trump brags about it: "I'm not going anywhere, folks, I've got a lot of money." Yet people are quoted about how he's the people's candidate.
Even with Hillary. The news was all about money her and Bill have made, and how she can't be one of the people because she's so rich; yet Trump is far richer than her or Bill.
