Even with Hillary. The news was all about money her and Bill have made, and how she can't be one of the people because she's so rich; yet Trump is far richer than her or Bill.
I think it's because Trump doesn't downplay it. He says that he is rich, "yet not in a braggadocious way". His point is that this should be our mindset in America - to make good - and he has.

One focus group said that even with his money, he connects with the people. Listening to him, he does seem to pull that off.

Romney seemed so out of touch. Do you remember the interview when he and his wife were gushing over shopping at Costco? It was so lame. It left you with the impression they played that up to look like they were in touch. Epic fail.

Trump doesn't play that way. Besides, he is almost 70 and rich - he is going to say whatever he wants, especially at this stage of the game. That's the fun part about this election. LOL!

Anyone see Trump's speech at the football stadium. The crowd was arranged in a horseshoe shape. Estimates I read online say between 30-36K. Of course, Trump's campaign says it was much larger... around 42K.

IMO, if Jeb Bush was ahead right now in the polls no one would be saying that polls right now don't matter.

I'm still not convinced that donald trump can win the nomination. But he's certainly making a strong case for himself with those current numbers.

However, the true test will be to check the numbers when candidates start dropping out. Who will their supporters choose. That's hard to tell.

I don't know one single person who would vote for Jeb. He is only up because the big money is backing him. That's a sure sign he is the worse candidate possible.

That's the best ad I've seen in a long time! Hilarious, but on point.

Re: Trump 2016

Trump is a diversion for the media. Don't take him seriously. He'll purposefully implode just before the Primary. This prevents the Republican contenders from weakening themselves in front of the American people as the result of months of campaigning against one another. It's a political strategy. And so far it is working.

People are talking more about "Trump" than the weaknesses of the other candidates.

You must not be reading what I am reading. Trump's candidacy is bringing out the weaknesses in the other candidates. Whether he wins the primary or not, nothing is being covered up. Even Jeb is looking weak except to the Left and GOP Establishment who loves Amnesty.
