I personally believe that there can only be one Pastor over every local congregation.

I find it interesting and not sure where it came from, how nowadays there is a pastor for everything.

Everyone else except the Pastor is just help.

Because we are all ministering under his eldership.

Whether the Pastor gives us authority to baptize, marry, lay hands, teach, preach, or counsel.

Wives submit to YOUR own husband Ephesians 5:22-33, Colossians 3:18. Children are to obey the parents Ephesians 6:1, Colossians 3:20. 1 Timothy 3:4 fathers as the head must manage their own family in a proper manner. their children should respectfully obey the father as the head of the home. If a father decides to have his children to have cell phones, then that man is running his home.

When my wife came to this country everyone in the refugee camp that came here had to be vaccinated.

All throughout school my kids had to be vaccinated.

Is that fair?

Somethings need to be done to protect everyone.

So how long do you keep your saints in quarantine? Meaning you gave us the scriptures and the stories concerning vaccines, but can you show how you would deal with adult men who don't agree with a cell phone prohibition for their young people? Also this preacher who preachers cell phone prohibition does he also preach against public school? Just asking that question out of interest. Thank you Brother Perez

While I myself would not insist on the prohibition of cell phones for teenagers we must all confess with the changing of technology and the availability of so much filth parents surely need to guard their children during these developing years. And it is my job to warn the parents and young people of the filth and keep themselves pure. Pornography addiction is very real and during those young hormonal days where sexual temptation is great with those raging hormones it pays both the pastor and parents to guard against it. Surely everyone here can see the dangers if not you are probably messing with it yourself.

My issue is making an across the board prohibition against cell phones. I totally agree with you emphatically on the rest of your post.

Warning is one thing and very biblical...My post was conceding a pastor taking (?) a phone from a grown married man...to keep him out of sin....I thought that part was quite foolish....

I sometimes hear of the "horrors" that some folks tell about in certain churches...I am very thankful for a pastor that is balanced....He has been my pastor since I was 7 years old....I think he may have been 20! I am 65 and still have the same pastor and his sweet wife....such Godly people and huge footprints for me to follow....
