Re: Some standing here

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Yep, the kingdom COMETH(invisibly), but eventually becomes visible.

No problem.

That would be very interesting to see indeed.
Ok. Let's go Bible 101 here.

Biblical Language describing God's judgment is referred to as a coming. FACT!

Jerusalem/Temples destruction was prophesied by Jesus to be a coming in judgement, as had happened previously in scripture. FACT!

I did not say 2nd coming, but A coming. FACT!

Re: Some standing here

Mike and I cleared that one already.

So you think the 2nd coming is future, just like Mike does?

Then the end of the world, and no physical kingdom?

I posted that as I was going through the several pages since I was last on, and before I got to the last post. lol

Sean. I too am quite amazed that after all this time, you missed the difference between full and partial. I know Mike has stressed repeatedly, as have I, when we say A coming in AD70. Apparently you now see what we propose. Great!

Yes. I believe the 2nd coming is in our future.

Scripture is clear the Kingdom cannot be seen, so I guess one needs to find a scripture supporting it in fact can be seen, then go from there. If not, just believe what we can read in the scriptures.

In John 3, when it talks about no man can "see the Kingdom of God" unless they are born again, is not with physical eyes, any more than the confused Nicodemus tried to understand born again was not natural, but Spiritual.

Bowas, a preterist is a preterist is a preterist.

When you have seen one, you have seen his father.

Okay...Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
This is the announcement that the worlds kingdoms are just becoming(right then) the kingdom of the Lord, and His future reign.

Yes, that is how it starts out, but it does not say that it is FOREVER that way.

Brother. If you go down that road on believing what it does not say, but include or incorporate your views, not by specific scriptures making the claim, but by claiming the scriptures don't make a specific claim against it, there is no stopping what one might end up believing.

Truth of the matter though, Jesus and the scriptures confined and put a limit as to what the kingdom of God is and is not.
No where does it say, it is Spiritual for awhile, but will be replaced by a physical one.

That's forcing scripture (by omission) to fit a pre-determined view.
