Re: Replacement Theology Man Highlights

"Sean! Dinner is ready!...Get off the Computer!"

I am coming, babe!(metaphor)

"5 minutes later,,,,SEANNNNN! Dinners' getting cold!"

I am coming, babe(metaphor)

Well, I was "eventually" going to dinner, but I so cleverly bought time by SLOWLY metaphorizing my way to a cold dinner and angry wife.

Next time I metaphorize the words, "I am coming", I better snap to, and literalize it instead...LOL

Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Joh 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
Answer the question Sean, what is this passage a comparison to? And how do you come to what ever conclusion within that verse?

And yet you metaphorize these very words of the Lord and say he has not come. Man his wife must be getting pretty mad at him for saying he is coming 2000 years ago and still has not come.

Sorry, that is not a metaphor.

Lets look at it again.

Jesus says....

Luk 13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
Luk 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

That is a metaphor.

You telling your wife that you are coming but don't is just you being lazy.

Re: Replacement Theology Man Highlights

Now if you looked at her and told her - " I'm coming you ol battleax...."

That would be a metaphor.

LOL

The fox comparison was exactly what it was...a simple comparison.

Just like when He told the Pharisees, their father was the devil.

Jesus did not suggest, metaphorically that the devil was their father.

He told them their father was the devil, because the devil IS their spiritual father.(he is the sin/seed planter)

The bread is compared directly to Jesus.

Jesus is our "spiritual" bread.(real spirit food)

Jesus did not lie to us in this verse.

Jesus was soon transformed into Spirit form after this passage.

We spiritually exist and spiritually eat, in His eyes, when we receive and are renewed in the Spirit of Jesus.

Jesus is in our "bellies" Loren. We feed from His Spirit.

These words are spiritual, so don't look at it through carnal eyes.

You seem as lost as Nicodemus was with this passage, Loren.
