Tabo had 3 years in high school and has had 2 semesters at college already, so she could help me some if I started something during the summer.

Yea, doens't seem like God favors them at all...

There was a time when sinners would come in to the church from all types of immoral behavior. They would repent of their sin (which means turn from wrong I think......unless the meaning has been diluted) and often make restitution for the wrongs they had done. The church didn't encourage them to continue in illegal behavior. In fact, the church discouraged it.
Jesus wants to fill every hungry heart, but I assume he wants them to make moral choices afterwards.

I planted the church I pastor. It is a solid work that has existed for almost seven years now. Our building is paid off and we have a solid core.
There are still some of us that do things the right way. The only move-ins I've had are my inlaws.

Berk is right. Alot of folks want to start at the top and go up, but there are people out there who enjoy establishing a work, carving it out, and watching it grow.
May the Lord bless you richly, PP!

This is Daisy. She is from The Philippines. She married my cousin about five years ago. She is the reason I started this thread. She became a US citizen this week. That's why I haven't posted this afternoon is because we threw a big party celebrating the occasion.
She and my cousin pastor a home missions work in Missouri. It took her over three years to become a ctizen. She paid almost $4000.00 to become a citizen, She had to study civics and American history to become a citizen.
She has never marched against her new country and it's processes. She is grateful to be here. Why did Daisy have to go through all of this only to learn that her new government is about to give amnesty to people who don't even want citizenship, or care about the well-being of the U.S.?

I would do my best to help them obtain citizenship. BTW, guess what happened at our church this morning?
Remember how I told you about my daughter majoring in Spanish in College? About her requirement to spend a semester in Costa Rica?
This morning a young man who had received the Holy Ghost at our church and then moved away (job) moved back. He is a Spanish speaker. This morning his mom came to our church. Guess what? She is a retired high school Spanish teacher!!!!
She loved the service! She asked my daughter to help her with a singing program (Spanish) at the assisted living center in town. My daughter was thrilled. She stood and talked Spanish with the two of them for almost an hour. I didn't recognize my own daughter!
I'm going to try to learn some Spanish. At least enough to be able to travel and communicate in a very basic way.
