When I first arrived on this forum, I was taken back by the arguments against the necessity of water baptism.

I thought these "Apostolics" were bad news.

But now I enjoy hearing their point of view and rebutting things they say.

This forum would not be the same without them.(a mutual admiration forum)

See, this doesn't even make sense to me. Facebook is not a forum, there are no "discussion threads". It's not even a collection of blogs. I do not understand why a person, who wanted to discuss things on a discussion forum, would be enraptured by faceplant, oops I mean facebook.?????

I know forms that are run by baptists, and ONLY baptist doctrine is allowed, and they are pretty active. I know of one Reformed forum that is chock full of interesting theological discussion and heated debate, yet no NON REFORMED points of view are allowed (plus all members must use their real names and must identify what Reformed congregation they are members of!) but they are doing fine.

Other huge forums where anything goes also exist. But apostolics just aren't a blip on the radar on forums. I think apostolics for the most part just don't do forums, period.

Sometimes it depends on what a person defines what an Apostolic is.

I consider many of the people in here Apostolics or at least not totally negative toward Apostolics.
However to some Apostolics unless a person belongs to a certain group or accepts a long list of "Apostolic" doctrines, then in their mind that person is not a true Apostolic.

Defining who a true apostolic is sometimes based on the old idea, that to be a true Apostolic you must believe exactly what my pastor, leader or church teaches otherwise you are not a true Apostolic.

However my conception of who a true Apostolic, is a biblical one.
what do I mean by that?
Well I mean that for a person to call themselves a true Apostolic, that person must believe what the Apostles taught in the scriptures.
If the Apostles did not teach it, then it is not an Apostolic doctrine and therefor it should not be a part of what defines an Apostolic.

Well this world is not very Apostolic friendly either, however we must live in this world.

I would visit and become a member of another Apostolic forum if one that allowed doctrinal discussions existed, however there is an scarcity of such forums.

When GNC existed and also a couple of other Apostolic forums existed, I did join them.

When discussion or debate of Aposttolic doctrines was prohibited then there was nothing for me to do in there, but just watch people exchange food recipes, so I simply left them. Now those places are gone.

This forum might not seem to be Apostolic friendly, but it is because it allows the discussion of Apostolic doctrines and any discussion or debate of Apostolic doctrine seem to some people as attacks upon Apostolic doctrines, but we should never confuse healthy discussion or debate for attacks.

There are way too many forums dominated by trinies where any Apostolic doctrine is quickly shut down, I know I have been kicked out of some of them for bringing up Apostolic doctrines, now those forums are truly not Apostolic Friendly.
