Exactly. It's amazing how many confused people think an attack on apostolic faith is 'a healthy discussion'!

Re: GNC Forum
I like AFF. I am not on FB or any other social media. However, I believe people choose FB over a forum like this one because .....
.... there is no like button.... LOL!
No really... people are looking for quick and simple ways to connect with others, and posting on a forum such as this one takes a bit more time and effort than a quick "like" response on FB.
This forum has no doubt held on because discussion both for and against various apostolic doctrines is permitted. I enjoy these discussions as long as they don't turn into personal attacks and character assassinations.

I can't post what I always thought he was! (I did meet him in person and he was very nice. That did not keep me from telling him exactly what I thought about his behavior on this forum and that I believed it destroyed the unique dynamic it had.
Some people do not want to discuss for the sake of the positions they hold but just to be ugly to people and insult them. He was a smart man so clearly knew that being condescending and ridiculing others views was not going to win any converts to his positions but he did it anyway.
It does not surprise me at all that he is agnostic now if that is in fact true.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: GNC Forum
CC - imo, admin at the time liked the fact that DA was flamethrowing at the OP's on the board. So, by their silence encouraged him and destroyed what was a great dynamic forum at the time.

Re: GNC Forum
Where did the admin that used to be here go? Other than Cindy, of course.

Facebook has forums. I have seen many wall posts turn into threads.

true, but don't you find that they are more superficial in their nature? Wall posts are shared with selected, like-minded individuals, for the most part; and commenters are unfriended for straying too much, etc. Inbred by design, imo.
