Need church recommendation in Mississippi
I have some folks that will be staying in Osyka, Miss. for a couple weeks. Anyone know a good church in the area? Preferably smaller, nothing shnazzy and super fancy, just good Holy Ghost apostolic people?
Nearby towns are Kentwood, Louisiana, Magnolia, Mississippi, McComb, Mississippi, Gillsburg, Mississippi, Progress, Mississippi, Mt Hermon, Louisiana, etc. Hammond, Louisiana would probably be too far to go.

There's probably a good 45 or 50 good Apostolic churches within a 30 mile radius.

Not an exaggeration!
Might even be on the low side with as many cities he mentioned.

Certainly the most intricate pulpit I have seen and I have been to the Vatican, St. Peter's, St. Paul's, and a bunch of other historic churches! (click on the thumbnail to enlarge)

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

One of the most beautiful buildings in Pentecost. Church has several finish carpenters in it. The trim work it to an art stage. Beautiful wont touch it. This is a country church.
