Sam says, 'Can you substantiate that claim?'
BTW, former WalMart employee here.

If you were predisposed to evangelize the lost, working at Walmart is about the best thing you could hope to do. Did we forget that the "People of Walmart" are lost sinners needing a Savior?
And for the record, for every one or even ten oddly or even inappropriately apparelled person or persons who shop at Walmart across the USA, there are literally thousands upon thousands who shop there every day, who do not dress or comport themselves in any odd or inappropriate way.
I see countless hundreds, and some times thousands of people every week, and guess what? Almost none of that number qualify for the comments being made here.

Hi Bro,
The current of this thread reminds me of why I have had such a hard time fitting in among "Apostolics".
They probably forgot that this is in holy scrip.
1My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. 2For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? 5Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6But ye have despised the poor. James 2:1-5
I can see it now. A poor man comes in with a beard wanting to hear the preaching of Jesus. The rulers of the Church/Synagogue come up and begin to abuse and mock him. He runs out of the Church....maybe forever, all the while the men in their goodly fashionable suits then REJOICE that they have ran the devil out!
But wait! This is NOT a little story of something one MIGHT SEE in a Oneness Pentecostal Church. NO. It is something I HAVE SEEN in their midst.
I fear its going to take great tribulation, great suffering and loss for many in our fashionable Churches to come back to the simplicity of faith and love toward the person of Jesus and his ways. Where they perhaps would feel some kinship with those who dont measure up to "their" standards.
Peace and Love, Michael

I believe you are missing the point.

That's funny. I have a beard. Not Steve Winter super-wizard-Gandalf 'elder from the old country' beard, but it's enough to get the folks at brother Epley's trying to lay hands on me.
