Sorry, sir, but all scripture is still given by inspiration of God, and it is always wisest and best to all scripture to interpret scripture.
Kindly be so good and honest as to see and comment on 'the rest of the story', for it is CLEAR from the rest of scripture concerning judges in the OT that they were moral and political leaders. And, it is clear from scripture that Deborah (that mere woman) had the same position and authority as the other judges (males) did, and God sanctioned and used her in that position.

Your posts continue to prove that you don't read well. You referred to MY scholarship (scholarship actually meaning the combining of philosophy and theology) but if you had understood what you read you would have seen that I didn't present any scholarship. All I did was provide a few quotes from some Bible commentators. Also, I was referrng to one specific passage while you didn't even address that passage.
Your reading comprehension skills are proven to be lacking also in your ridiculous comment about me declaring God's word to be irrelevant. YOUR REFERRING TO SPECIFIC PASSAGES OF SCRIPTURE IS NOT GOD'S WORD! As I said earlier, "you referred to passages that I never referred to and anything you might have to say about those passages has no bearing whatsoever on the passage I referred to."
