Lightbulb Somewhat off topic

This may be slightly off topic **and not meant to bash anybody** but consider this: There are some people who b/c of past experiences with men that will only respond to the preaching of a woman. Again this is not to bash anyone (or to say that women are perfect) BUT unfortunately so many people have been abandoned, used, neglected, abused, raped and ripped off by men that they have built up walls. Some of this happened at home, some in church. These issues are real. We as believers need to at least acknowledge that much.

There is so much emotional baggage that these kinds of people are generally turned off to church and men leaders/authority figures. Kids in juvenile facilities usually have daddy issues. People in prisons have daddy issues. Teen mothers generally have daddy issues. Abused women have issues with men. People that have been mistreated in church may have a poor opinion of male leaders.

Yes the Holy Spirit can reach these people with the right male preacher. However getting these folks to the point where they would even listen is the issue. In the mean time what should we do? Let them sit in their sin and misery? Should we let these people slip into hell? Maybe we should let them get theirs just like we got ours? That is if they're sincere. Right?

This is part of my testimony. I was saved by the preaching of a woman. The men in my area had lots of churches but none of them had any power. This woman preached out of a store front and had more anointing in her pinky toe that all those men had put together. If I waited on those men preachers I would probably still be unsaved and loaded with demonic spirits. Or possibly dead. Or possibly in a pychiatric hospital in a padded room wearing a straight jacket. The Lord used her to cast the demons out of me and I've been free ever sense.

I'm all for anybody that is anointed of God and is ushering souls into the Kingdom.

Sorry, sir, but all scripture is still given by inspiration of God, and it is always wisest and best to all scripture to interpret scripture.

Kindly be so good and honest as to see and comment on 'the rest of the story', for it is CLEAR from the rest of scripture concerning judges in the OT that they were moral and political leaders. And, it is clear from scripture that Deborah (that mere woman) had the same position and authority as the other judges (males) did, and God sanctioned and used her in that position.
Your posts continue to prove that you don't read well. You referred to MY scholarship (scholarship actually meaning the combining of philosophy and theology) but if you had understood what you read you would have seen that I didn't present any scholarship. All I did was provide a few quotes from some Bible commentators. Also, I was referrng to one specific passage while you didn't even address that passage.

Your reading comprehension skills are proven to be lacking also in your ridiculous comment about me declaring God's word to be irrelevant. YOUR REFERRING TO SPECIFIC PASSAGES OF SCRIPTURE IS NOT GOD'S WORD! As I said earlier, "you referred to passages that I never referred to and anything you might have to say about those passages has no bearing whatsoever on the passage I referred to."

I have never denied it. Some women have built great works that remain until this day. I can think of 3 right off the top of my mind.
However 'you can do God a service without doing His will.'

The donkey did God a service but was not a prophet or prophetess.

The cock crowed did God a service.
