I see!! I am beginning to think that about our family!!!! I visualize trees that are all connected!! I told my mom that we really need to find out who all our family is on her side so that there is not inter-marrying going on!! Lol!!

if you go far enough back, there's that whole Noah and his sons thing..and Adam and Eve

LOL

Ya, but I think we'd all find some sort of connection a long time before we get to Noah

Changing the subject....

Have any of you ladies ever gotten your hair permed after a pregnancy? How long should I wait? Will the last week in June be too soon? I haven't had a perm for 2 years and my husband likes it permed plus it is easier for me to handle when it is permed because it is naturally frizzy and it will NOT stay straight no matter what I do.

Anyways what do you ladies think? I really don't want to wait much longer but I also do not want to waste my money or ruin my hair.

I've never heard that having a perm after pregnancy, before or during was an issue. Why would it matter after the baby was born?

Perming or Straightening Hair During Pregnancy
Perming or straightening your hair during pregnancy may carry a little more risk. Most hairdressers do not recommend perming or straightening hair during pregnancy. The problem here is not so much the chemicals as it is the hormones raging through your body during pregnancy. Pregnancy hormones can change the way your body reacts to the chemical agents used in perms or relaxers. So, instead of coming away with a head full of luscious curls, you could walk away from a perm with kinky frizz. The same can happen if you try to straighten your hair. Your best bet is to avoid perming or straightening while pregnant. Coloring is a much simpler method for changing your hair during pregnancy. You can even combine a great new color with a great new cut to keep you feeling fresh and new during pregnancy!
