Ever put marbles in your mud, I have seen some slabs with marbles in them on washed aggregate.

I read somewhere that in ancient times this was a common practice of humiliation. I also read that the KJV sanitized what was really occurring-- the full emasculation of their defeated foes, not just the foreskins.
Talk about humiliation and death!

The KJV sanitizes a lot of things.
Some of the original Hebrew language was not always political correct, but the translators felt the actual words might be offensive to many people so they substituted with euphemisms.

I have built concrete benches here in Florida that sea shells placed in them.
I also polish concrete which brings up the aggregate, but depends on what kind of concrete you are polishing. Terrazzo has chips of marble, granite set into concrete then polished to give a smooth surface. Down here Terrazzo restoration is getting big.

It is nice.
It is amazing what we can do with concrete.
