No, I'm live in Northern Cali, close to central. But visited San Diego before. The temperature there is usually on average about 10 degrees less than than where I stay out, but their humidity would make it feel like it's almost the same.

The past couple years in Ohio it seems like we've skipped winter altogether. Yes, we've had a stretch of ice cold (what they called a polar vortex) but "winter" as we've known it for generations just isn't happening. Summer has been everything we'd expect though.

I tend to think the earth has normal cycles of weather with fluctuations...the locals here are talking about a firestorm here in the 50s where the weather was like it is this year ...three fires joined together. It was a horrible fire still in the record books nationally for its devastation.

I think the biggest difference now is the huge infrastructures we now have.. Whereas in the past natural disasters didn't affect so many people like now.

There's some truth to that. Most know that I do believe in global warming. I also believe in cyclic changes in climate. I think global warming is exacerbating the cyclic climate change, making weather more intense, extreme, effects random on the micro scale. I also believe that HARRP is contributing to some of the problem (some parties want a weapon, others want to try to engineer a solution to climate change). But all of that is what I believe, it's only an opinion. I could be wrong. But, regardless of what any of us say or believe... at the end of the day, it was all foretold by the one who holds tomorrow in His hands...
Luke 21:25-26 King James Version (KJV)
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh

Re: Wildfires and Hurricanes

HAARP controlling weather?

September 2, 1935, Labor Day Storm.

On September 2, 1935, Labor Day, the hurricane reached a peak intensity of 892 mb. The hurricane made landfall later that night as a Category 5 storm, crossing the Florida Keys between Key West and Miami, FL. As it made landfall, the hurricane delivered maximum sustained winds of approximately 298 km/h (185 mph).

Where was HAARP in 1935?

Although HAARP wasn't around in 1935 the theoretical science (scalar wave generation of electricity and ionization of atmosphere) was pretty well developed by then.

BTW, HAARP doesn't "control the weather", HAARP was a now-discontinued phase in atmospheric sciences. Weather is manipulated (not controlled) primarily by ground based microwave emissions, as far as I can tell. Aircraft are likely also involved (seeding).

HAARP is a distraction.

"Assuming that in 2025 our national security strategy includes weather-modification, its use in our national military strategy will naturally follow. Besides the significant benefits an operational capability would provide, another motivation to pursue weather-modification is to deter and counter potential adversaries."

Re: Wildfires and Hurricanes

Has anyone heard anything about the solar eclipse ending out in the ocean exactly where Hurricane Harvey and Irma began? I read a blog post where someone was drawing a parallel between the two. Anyone else heard this?

This coming winter though is going to be a doozy.

The squirrels are making their homes in the middle of trees-- that is a tell-tale sign of a brutal winter.

Plus the fact that I think it was actually in the 40's earlier this month, in SEPTEMBER! It is going to be a long and brutal winter here in "the Land".
