Just did a random poll today.
I asked a guy to read this verse.
I asked him who "ye" is.
He said it was himself.
Preterists now have to find and convince that guy that "ye" was someone other than him.
Hey, I should do a national poll and wipe out preterism completely....LOL

When will these lies cease?
The seven churches show the problems churches can and have experienced throughout te centuries and the truths of how God would deal with those seven apply to any similar situation today.
When will you ever become honest about these things? It's ridiculous!

Again, more lies.
When context shows the YOU and YE refers to any given believer no matter what the year, and at other times refers solely to the people he spoke to, then the answer is obvious.
Jesus was looking at the people in Matt 24 and said YOU. That cannot apply to every Christian who ever lived so far because the END was not going to happen over and over again for two thousand years with temple being destroyed every year since Jesus said that. But in general messages of how to be saved and how to believe, that applies ot every believer ever since.
So, dude, get real.

You lied in what I quoted from your words regarding our beliefs.

Awesome, an admittance that these were applicable to today's churches.
That validates Jesus here.....
2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches...
2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches...
2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches....
3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches....
3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches....
3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches....
PLURAL!

It proves nothing about your reasoning regarding Matthew 24 applying to every believer since Jesus uttered those words, which you yourself do not even believe anyway, seeing as you confused your point with the example you provided.
You blundered when trying to say the YE in Matt 24 refers to more than just the first century believer, because if that were the case, then the temple has to be destroyed and rebuilt every single year since Jesus said that. So YOU cannot refer to anyone but ONE generation. And since the temple was destroyed in AD70, then THAT is the generation he intended.
Saying YOU in passages that deal with general salvation proves your point is absurd.

The issue began with who Matthew 24 was written to. Now you are forgetting that and changing the argument.
