The teaching of our children that God RULES, so as to raise future generations of devout believers with a clear theonomic foundation, which will help ensure a body politic that filters all its decisions through the lens of the Bible.

Or, we can just mouth the words during prayer and not actually act on our confessions of faith, and continue to retreat until we eventually die off...

Sadly, I believe the Bible teaches that the world will become worse and worse, not better and better. It's gotten to the point for me that I'm not surprised when the world sinks to what appears to be a new low. We are a minority and always have been, and always will be. We are in the world, but we are not of it. We are truly strangers in a strange land.

I also believe that as the world gets worse and worse... the church will walk in increased spiritual blessing, health, and success. And yes, there will also be times of great trial and persecution. We shouldn't be shocked. We were warned by Jesus that it would be so.

Jesus only spoke to 1st century believers and has shunned all others for 2000 years.

Very close. If Christ has all authority, then He has the authority to dictate our political life as well as our prayer life. He is Lord of our votes as well as our values. He is King of our society as well as our souls. And only He can save the nations, as well as the natives.

I feel that's a dangerous mindset that allows sin to go unopposed.
