I've never known anyone who got stoned and got closer to God. Not one.

I have however known plenty of people high as a kite who THOUGHT they were closer to God.

Oh, and as far as psychotropics and religious rituals? Yeah, they were part and parcel of my religion. There most definitely IS a spiritual component to using these things.

No more then is she sinning giving him Ritalin, or aderol. But she's opening a spiritual doorway to this child, but hey if you worship a God who can't save or deliver or heal its totally understandable. My God can though. If I was her id find a apostolic church that preaches the truth repent, be baptized in Jesus name, and get full of the Holy Ghost and get on my face in prayer.

Whether its sin or not is the least of her worries, it's not expedient to the child at that age. Just like Ritalin and aderol aren't.

My pastor just was talking about this on Sunday he said "its impossible for the Holy Ghost to get through to someone with a altered mind by substances. Because when the Holy Ghost does speak your going to follow your flesh before what the Spirit is directing you to do."

Case in that point that means that substance will become a idol, because you will follow it over God.

Man for real, and only by the grace of God do I have a sound mind today. Chris any substance that has desired effects at first, overtime changes on you. It will not always work, though your need for it will grow, and then you will be right back at square one. Just get on your face, because my God is a healer.

Yep that's why the Wikka smoke spice (JWH) K-2, whatever you call tbat synthetic cannaboid where you come from. It's a gate way. They smoke it before rituals just for that. Like the indians and Poyote, its a well known thing.
