I was a preacher in the apostolic church for around 10 years, myself -- and was quite good, if I may say so. My father was a UPC preacher for 20 years and his father before him was.

Wow -- that little spiel of mine reminds me of Paul:

Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
It was just getting good...

I know you are female. "you guys" is not a male or female expression in the South.

I was just visualizing some UPC person who had never gone to church anywhere else wandering into a Greek Orthodox church and how funny that would be since it would be such a huge difference in the services.

I am still trying to figure out how you took offense at it. If you thought I was mocking then what exactly did you think I was saying? How could that be mocking? I am confused (no surprise I know).

How can someone who does not believe speaking in tongues has anything to do with salvation say they teach the Acts 2: 38 doctrine?
Act 2:38:
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

This is what we teach and preach exactly as Peter preached it .... with results.

It depends on what the meaning of the word 'eis' is.

LOL! Well, Peter didn't address that that day.

People are funny. They crack me up. Gotta keep a sense of humour. They really are funny. Some are funnier than others.

Nono. I was referring to the Coffee Ms who took offence at the thought that I would claim to be apostolic and not make tongues a heaven/hell issue. Most apostolics don't when you get to the point where the rubber meets the pavement.
