Maybe I should have corrected him on that, because I ended up being ostracized anyway concerning something that was of far less importance.

Church people should learn/know the difference between respecting the Pastor, and NOT to be afraid of your Pastor: "faithful are the wounds of a friend", the pastors/leadership needs to know when they're/we're in scriptural error-you can help us tremendously; just be respectful, but straight forward..

You're a wise woman and reminds me often of my wife; yes, I used to get upset when she'd speak with me in the car after church, and/or at home; because I did not think that she heard me correctly, but I started listening to my sermons, and POW!!!! Thanks, I needed that. lol

Your Pastor has a very healthy, wise attitude-all Pastors should be open and respectful to the people that they lead-it's a 2-WAY Street/relationship

Questions for the pastor? Drop him a note and slide it under the office door. Works for me.

Re: Would You Ever Challenge Your Pastor?
First of all, lets get Biblical on the term and status [if any] of pastor.
1. Where in THE WORD is any epistle addressed to a pastor ?
2. Given that pastor is but one of the GIFTS GIVEN it is not a title or position it is a functioning gift that "whoever" could function in.
3. Check out THE WORD as see what GOD has said about "pastors"
Can I please get BIBLICAL FEEDBACK not denominational perspectives.
Thanking you
Roy
