UNBELIEVABLE! How many times has it been said on this forum that if TV goes down, its because the pro-TV people would be voting for unity?

You act so uncomfortable that I named two strong women on the board as the possible feminists that your posts kept alluding to. I swear I couldn't begin to guess otherwise and I sure didn't think I fit the bill.

I know of NO women on this board that believe in female dominance. Dan is right. The board has intelligent women for sure. But that does not make them feminists.

Anyway. I think its time to take a break. After all there are toilets to clean and cookies to bake...

I have noticed the anti-UPC hostility here. It doesn't seem as openly slanderous and disrespectful as it was at nFCF, but the trend is a little disturbing.

I, for one, would love to discuss the issues while refraining from demonizing either group (the UPCers and the TBNers).

BTW, I have amazing respect for posters on both sides (and those from neither side) who refrain from these behaviors. There are truly some great people here.

I flat out ADMIRE Elder Epley becuase he is living it EXACTLY as he sees it. That doesn't take anything away from the rest of us mere mortals who do the best we can with the paradoxes we are handed.

I fully understand that I am the least able to make a judgment call about what any minister should do in the situation God called him to.

God knows that I have not (for the sake of others) been true to what I believe. Why would I condemn someone else for pursuing unity?

There's always a certain amount of hostility in general on these forums because people act in a way via this kind of communication they never would standing talking one on one or in a group.

I have respect for people who can keep themselves and their attitudes in check while standing strong for what they believe - whatever position they take - without backhanding, verbal threats, sniping and assault.

I would like to apoligize to any one I may have hurt or offended on this thread (or any other).

It is a dangerous to thing to comment on woman's beauty in front of other women without making the other women feel ugly. It seems that is what happened in my ode to Epley. It was not intended. (I hope my analogy doesn't muddy the water further).

The irony is that as much as I respect Epley for his stand, I could not sit under him so most likely would be lost. Thank God for diversity in the Body of Christ. I doubt that any pastor can be all things to all people. Different people; different pastors....

To Rhondi and Cup Cake; I salute you for your intelligence and for telling it as you see it. No slight was intended there either.
