Re: Does Everyone Live Forever?
Sure I know about Gehenna or "the valley of Hinnom". Among other circumvention, that too doesn't establish nor annul the eternal lake of fire, the very "second death" defined.

Smoke ascending forever is not suffering. Where is suffering forever specifically said? Again, I'm not decided. Prove the point.

Re: Does Everyone Live Forever?
Did you by chance miss "their torment" part in that verse? "Prove the point" also doesn't establish anything except one's attempt to define truth by whether they believe it or not. The definition is quite absolute. The lake of fire IS the second death. The torment there will rise for ever and ever. The smoke from their torture goes up for eons of eons. They have no ceasing rest. This doesn't require etymology, what-if's or any side-stepping to make clear sense that this is terrible and eternal.

Yes the lake of fire IS the second death. You are assuming one can be ALIVE when they have experienced death. The second death is like the first except it will be for ETERNITY.
They will never live again. Their death lasts for eternity.

Re: Does Everyone Live Forever?
Yes, their death lasts for eternity. But nowhere does that equate to nothingness and annihilation. Nowhere. This is not assumption. This is definition. The lake of fire IS (defined as) the second death. The torture is unceasing. Even the first death is not permanent. Death and hell give up the dead in them, to be judged. Totally NOT nothingness in any sense. Their deaths do last for eternity, but annihilation and nothingness are not even remotely part of that definition.

Wow, can you explain that again. Only just a little slower.
Also, is it possible for a rider to steer their horse without the use of reins?

Hey Bro B. Long time.
You can go back and read from my first post on to here.
Don't know if you can steer a horse without reins, but you can sure beat one to death.

How would that mock God? Seeing He got the last laugh.

I see you are taking some time to answer the BBQ question?
