How many Pastors are in the assembly you attend? Why would need more than one Pastor?

Strong's Definition
From ἀγγέλλω aggellō (probably derived from G71; compare G34; to bring tidings); a messenger; especially an "angel"; by implication a pastor: - angel messenger.
Thayer's Definition
a messenger, envoy, one who is sent, an angel, a messenger from God
The Bible relates the Pastor to a Shepard...
Ephesians 4:11
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Strong's Definition
Of uncertain affinity; a shepherd (literally or figuratively): - shepherd pastor.
Thayer's Definition
a herdsman, esp. a shepherd
in the parable, he to whose care and control others have committed themselves, and whose precepts they follow
John 21:16
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
The Lord tells Peter to feed my sheep. The Lord is implying that his followers are sheep. Pastors in Ephesians is defined as a Shepard. This is not saying that the followers of Jesus Christ (saints) are anything less. Yet, I believe that there is order in this kingdom, and there is headship.
Ephesians 4:12
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Saints will not be perfected without the ministry. The moment we have sheep rising up against the shepherds there will be problems. If the shepherd is out of line God will take care of the issue. Ive seen several instances where God stepped in and made improvements. We need the whole ministry, yet the well meaning brother that suggests that he believes having one Pastor isn’t biblical. In my opinion your just asking for trouble, the moment they dont agree with one they go for the other. Bro. Benincasa wrote a post in the other thread that was spot on.

It is a human leader. You speak against a single pastor leading a church but yet you still believe a human man leads a church by your words above. Which is it?
A pastor is shepherd. Does not a shepherd lead sheep?

One angel of a church is one person.

Brother, I meant post scripture for your belief. You failed to do so.

I really don’t know how many. Some are in the pews. Only one is officially pastor. One is bishop. My point is that pastors are a gift from God. As well as teachers, apostles, prophets, and teachers. Nobody claims that we only need one teacher in a church. Why only one pastor? Why not ten?
If a pastor is an elder, the NT records ordaining multiple elders in every church. Paul sent Timothy to the churches that they had established in order to ordain elders.
Acts.14
[23] And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
So, is an elder a pastor? And a pastor an elder? So why would we want only one pastor? If pastors are a wonderful gift of God (which they are) the question is “why only one pastor?”
When Paul called for the elders of Ephesus to meet him in Miletus to counsel them on what they should do, he never mentions the pastor (singular). He mentions elders plural.
Acts.20
[17] And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
Why did he never mention the pastor? I believe it is because elders and pastors were synonymous in the NT. If so, it is evident that the churches of the NT had multiple pastors.
So why would a church not benefit from multiple pastors?
Would it not lighten the load on our overloaded pastors?
Would it not be a good thing?
If we are truly apostolic, why do we not follow their example in this?

Brother, you have given zero scripture for evidence that the angel of any church in Revelation was a pastor. Do you believe all angels are pastors, and all pastors are angels?

I was taught old school. I wonder why John didnt say to the “angels” of the church _____? Why did he say, “to the Angel” of the church, just one.
