Would God judge a nation for its sins such as for example abortion, sodomy, porn, and such like? Have you ever said judgment could come to a nation (including America) because of these things?
Has your Pastor ever mentioned judgment could come to America because of sin? Practically every Preacher I have ever heard who preaches holiness has said the same thing.
But if it happens or at least SEEMS to be happening then they draw back and say its not God its just chance.

That's what I find interesting about modern day prophets. They always have weasel clauses embedded in their prophecies.
Not many make declarative proclamations anymore.

Not that I recall, but I could have.

When this virus is as much of a threat to Gods people as it is to the devils people, I don’t see it as a judgment against everyone, the hellbound and the heaven bound, as you see it.
I do not see God judging His people with death, when they’re the ones striving to do His will.
Noah- Gods righteous people saved, satans killed.
Soddom and Gomorrah- Gods righteous people saved, satans killled.
Egypt-Gods righteous people saved, satans killed.
Corona virus- Satans people and Gods people killed. The deadly virus is no respector of persons with respect to heaven bound or hell bound.
It’s about your health and immune system, not about your right standing w God or not.
Corona Virus judgement of God?
U and Baxter can tell the widows and children of the God fearing deceased, that their loved one died because of Gods judgement for porn, adultry, etc etc...that their loved one stood against. And that many of Gods people will die from this judgement no matter their standing w God, if they get the virus and their immune system can’t beat it. Because they live next door or down the street from the people that are sinning, porn, homosexuality, abortion, etc...
Baxter will likely eat his words before it’s done. And the UPC leaders may very well will this time get their fill of his nonstop “could this be” every time he sees something big scale in the latest headlines...when their people are dying from what he says is Gods judgment.
My opinion.

Re: Irwin Baxter and the virus judgment
Sincere question MTD-
Based on this virus being a judgment of God in your opinion: do you believe we should or should not pray for protection from the virus, and/or physical healing for the righteous that are receiving the judgment of God through this virus? And wouldnt praying for their physical healing go against praying God’s will be done in this judgment that is being received by both the unrighteous and the righteous?
It is Gods will for the righteous to receive this judgement as well, right? (Because the virus is obviously no respecter of ones “standing with God...)

I agree with you Shag.
This is not a time of judgment.
However, these are "signs of the times". This is the rain on the just and the unjust... and no one is invincible. These things are signals and alerts to we, the church who are looking and watching.
When the time of judgment comes, we won't be on this forum arguing about it. We will ALL know. The WHOLE WORLD will know when its time for judgment. And then it will be too late, just as the door shut on the ark, and Noah and his family were inside.
When true judgment comes to the earth, God's people will not perish in the judgment. But until the judgment, we will see signs of the times.
II Peter 3:2Most importantly, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. “Where is the promise of His coming?” they will ask. “Ever since our fathers fell asleep, everything continues as it has from the beginning of creation.”
But they deliberately overlook the fact that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world of that time perished in the flood. And by that same word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

Re: Irwin Baxter and the virus judgment
As we speak America is being occupied by a foreign power. Its happening before our eyes. Do you you think this will all just go away? While Im hoping and praying it will I remember Israel being taken captive by Assyria. Judah being taken captive by Babylon.
Now Americans are being held captive in their own country.
But its all just a coincidence.

The "rain on the just and the unjust," is not about a curse. It's a blessing. In Israel, it is mostly desert, so rain was seen as blessing, not a curse. God people and evil people will still get blessed (not cursed).
