Re: Virtual church
We need to reopen the country and get back to church very soon, within weeks not months. And if not then we either rebell against authority or sell our buildings and split up into home fellowship groups. I can't see us hiding away and watching our country be destroyed until they force a vaccine on us. But what do I know. I'm speaking from passion and anger rather than prayer.

Probably a total of 90 days of massive lockdown, and then a gradual unlocking which most likely still ban large gatherings (e.g. more than 50), for another few months. Add to that the destruction on the economy that may make maintaining a building that hasn't been paid full a luxury.

Re: Virtual church
They are saying that if things get back to “normal” after the expiration of the president’s order, things can get bad again in a few months. Possibly keeping people at home during voting in November.

Ebola, another virus in the same family of this one, is having small outbreaks again after two years. I am afraid until enough people get it to have herd immunity, this won't stop. Wuhan, which is easing lockdown right now, already have few hundreds new cases.

Re: Virtual church
Imagine what things would be like if anyone founds out how many die from flu every year. We'd be locked down forever.

It's already been too long. The shutdown is already too much and too far.
They could have just issued an advisory, but instead they opted to decide for us. THEY know what's best for us; we need the nanny state to tell us what to do, or we'll be lost!

Re: Virtual church
I posted several days ago that Pastor Gerald Guevara of Spain was gravely ill with Covid-19... my pastor received word this morning that Bro. Gerald has gone home to be with the Lord.
Prayers for his family, and those who knew and loved him greatly appreciated.

Re: Virtual church
I know people are going to get upset with me. But that is nothing new. So here it goes. He had to have pre exsisting health conditions, but it is a thing right now to say that people died of COVID 19. It’s typical of hysteria, because thinking caps aren’t used. Look at the forest people, look at the forest.
