and that is the point, crakjak, there is a vast difference between what the old taught and what the new believe/teach. nothing more than that.

If you decide to come to Austin, go the long way back into Austin from SA.

Take TX16 (can get to it from Loop 1604) and head into Bandera. Keep on TX16 through Medina and Kerrville, all the way into Fredricksburgh. Hop on US 290 and head back into Austin through Johnson City and Dripping Springs.

Or, when you get into Fredricksburgh, take a side trip out to Enchanted Rock, then head back to Austin... Enchanted Rock closes when the parking lot is full, and the lot is the size of my kitchen pantry, so that means it usually closes at 10 AM. Well worth the ride though.

By the way, that trip will take you ALL DAY... but it will be beautiful all day.

We'd rather you actually come to Austin first, and then we can all go out there together, though.

I understand your point as posted here. My point is simply, if they hold to their same message, yet change their method of presentation by utilizing small groups for leading seekers to faith. How is this that different from the past when most of the early PCI churches were small, therefore in essence a small group? This may not make sense since we disagree on the end results, as to the point someone is saved.

See here is the problem. guys like PP and I, probably dont agree with the California Ultra Con on the reasons to pour milk over cereal, but we are almost in lock step with the Louisiana Liberal....both are UPCI...Which side do we have to agree with to stay? With great respect, it aint quite so easy Brother Steadfast...

Ferd,

The loratab must have hurt your thinking on this one.
The vote is not 51% pro and 49% against.

This is a diversion from the fact the Lousy-anny libs and Cali Locksteppers all firmly believe in Acts 2:38 ONLY for salvation.

there are a few scenic overlooks dotting the trip and there's a place in Medina called "Love Orchards" that has a gift shop/snack bar. You can get Apple EVERYTHING there... including Apple Ice Cream. Y'all would love it.

If I understand correctly they still believe a person is saved at repentance, and that one can and should be baptised and be Spirit filled.

But I do now understand your point, and that it is no doubt true that their focus has changed.

Your are incorrect they do NOT hold the same message I do not know of one PCI preacher of yesteryear that would reduce baptism to a sacrament or place NO emphasis on the HGB. Folks obeyed Acts 2;28 in those services becuase it was preached from the pulpit. You can be a member or an official at Christ Church without obeying Acts 2:38. Honestly you could attend for years and never learn they were a Oneness church from what is preached in the pulpit. The end result is NOT the same. Now in a PCI minded church and a PAJC minded church the result would be the same but not here or many such like churches.
