I disagree that Trump should declare martial law. It’s a bit absurd. So we trash the Constitution to protect the Constitution? Is that 4D chess?

Also, I doubt the military will back him. You have commanders in Syria lying to him about troop levels to keep Trump from further reductions. The military brass will support Biden, not Trump. Because Trump has ruined their livelihood. They live for war. Trump wants peace.

This is true.

The Supreme Court denied only the “emergency injunction”. It did not deny the Certification. Mike Kelly’s case is still pending in the Supreme Court.

We can thank Senator Ted Cruz for inspiring Texas to sue.

The Texas lawsuit filed by Ken Paxton went straight to the Supreme Court.

PA, GA, MI, WI violated the Constitution by violating their own laws. Therefore, Texas has been harmed. These states violated the Electors Clause and the 14th Amendment.

Any Electoral College votes cast by those electors violate the Constitution and should not be counted. That means neither Trump nor Biden get the Electoral College votes that they need.

The decision would then be made by the House of Representatives. Very important piece of litigation.
Now, the Supreme Court will decide one way or the other.

If the Electoral College votes aren't redistributed through new electors by state legislatures, Congress gets involved.

Even though the House is controlled by Democrats, they don't control state delegations. Republicans have 27, Democrats have 21. Those delegations would choose the President.

7 states have gotten onboard with the Texas suit - Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota. Should have a couple more.

Also, Supreme Court is requiring the 4 states Texas filed against to respond to the Bill of Complaint by Thursday 3:00 EST.

So, Pennsylvania will be forced to defend why they changed election laws, bypassing the state legislature.

Here is the Texas lawsuit. 154 pages

Bill of Complaint

“Our Country stands at an important crossroads. Either the Constitution matters and must be followed, even when some officials consider it inconvenient or out of date, or it is simply a piece of parchment on display at the National Archives. We ask the Court to choose the former.”

Re: SCOTUS Denies Final Trump Lawsuit - It's Over

What was refused cert was a filing for injunctive relief. They wanted a decision without actually arguing in court. The request was denied, which means it will go to court.

Meanwhile Texas and I think so far 7 states have been put on the docket for their case, which is bigger and with potentially heavier consequences than an individual candidate's case.

You can stick a fork in it, but the oven is still preheating.
