Hey everyone....don't give up on Gabby's just because I am not here...I am sorry I have been away so much....I will do better, I will do better........

I don't have time to catch up...so I am just starting from here...

Went to Eugene today and had lunch with my Sis, and my mom....My mom has always been a very difficult person to deal with and it has been a huge test of my Christian heart to deal with her, not to get into detail but she made some very hurtful comments...which later lead my sister and I to pray about the whole thing. I am ready to just wash my hands of the whole thing...that is what my flesh wants to do anyway!

I am sitting here in the middle of the night having a hard time sleeping because of the stress, put a huge knot in the middle of my belly....

I love you all my Gabby gals and guys.....I am going to go back to bed again and try to sleep...

My hubby is still working at the coast!!! Can you believe it...it's going on a year and half now!!!!!! I will be glad when he is home again!!!

Good night all...or good morning depending on when you read this.... this is how I feel some days.....

It does get easier, though, right? Abigail still wants to be held constantly. If I put her down, she will last about 10 minutes before she is screaming to be held again. She likes to nap attached to me, and wakes up if I put her down. Even Daddy holding her doesn't last long. She wants Mommy ALL the time.

Oh my that sounds like Ariel exactly!!! The only way she will stay asleep is on her tummy and with the fear of SIDS I will not leave her on her belly through the night. But she will not sit in her swing or lay on her play mat for very long at ALL!!! It is stressful when you are trying to cook or clean and take care of other things and by the time she goes down for the night I am ready to crash into bed for as long as I can until she gets back up to eat.

It can be overwhelming. I remember with my first baby that around 4 -5 months it seemed to get MUCH better. So, I am counting the days until then.

We have church camp this week. It's an hour away and we have to leave before my husband gets home from work so I'll be taking the baby by myself. My main concern is having somewhere to feed her. She won't take a bottle and I'm not familiar with the facilities where camp is held. (Legally I can breastfeed her anywhere, but I don't think it would be a good plan at church.)

You might have to endur a couple days of crying, but if the baby is fed, dry and nothing wrong with her you need to break this habit now. She has trained you well - she knows if she cries, she gets held.

Wrap her up so she feels secure and snuggly and don't pick her up - she will finally get it.
