Re: 32°F in South Florida Tonight!!!
It's predicted to drop to 28° here after midnight.
As long as we have no power outages all will be peachy.
Just in case I've located my sleeping bag and cold weather gear.
It would be lovely if Elder Esaias would check in.

My house doesn't have heat. We have heaters that we can pop on if by rare chance it drops below 60° . Other than that I hope my animals outdoors can weather the cold. I hope Elder Esaias signs back in to share some of his wisdom. Also let us to know if he is doing well dealing with the artic temperatures in Texas

No snow yet, it’s 42° and falling. The animals are doing better than me.

Re: 32°F in South Florida Tonight!!!
I’m late to see this post. Hanging blankets over the windows can help with the cold chill.
If you don’t have enough heaters, at least try to keep your bathroom and your bedroom warm. The rest of the house can remain cold. Sleep with socks on if you can, I can not.
You’re not at the point yet where you need to let the faucet trickle.

My sister lined her windows with bubble wrap and then mylar blankets. She is using space heaters for heat. With below freezing temperatures she has been able to keep her place heated to close to 70°.

From what I understand two more cold fronts are coming after this one, so it still makes sense to insulate the windows of at least one room where you can use a space heater to keep warm.

The bedroom is 70°, rest of the house is 53°.
The animals outside are dealing with 34° lizards like iguanas are all messed up.
