The year of 9-11, I was able to go twice to NYC. Once, just days before the attack, and a month earlier to celebrate our wedding anniversary. While visiting the Empire State Building as my wife and I made our way to the observation deck...we heard a noise. It sounded familiar. When we turned around the corner, there were MANY Chinese visitors in matching T-shirts...holding hands and praying for the US....it was POWERFUL! I'll never forget the experience...

I rejoice when I read of the Holy Ghost falling on people...May God send a great revival to China and bless those that are laboring there.

I have a video entitled "Tears and Rejoicing in China" produced by Revival Christian Church in Hong Kong and pastored by Dennis Balcombe, taken a number of years ago that is awesome. When you watch it you want to repent for your lack of passion and zeal. There is an powerful move of the Holy Spirit that has been happening in China for a long time now. There would be more Pentecostals in China then there are UPC Pentecostals in the US. The greatest increase since the 1980's among Christians in China is within the Pentecostal movement.

Does this mean all of those toys in Wal-Mart are sanctified?

Every year at Christmas time we are reminded that they are all made by Chinese Christian and child slave labor. Just to help heap a little more guilt on the holiday season.

I heard a missionary tell of visiting a Pentecostal church in communist China. They met in a large room of a building. He said he could feel the spirit during the service, yet the folks were quiet and subdued. Suddenly, he could sense excitement building and see folks stirring. Moments later he understood why. A train passed by on tracks just outside the exterior wall of the room. During the 30 seconds that the train filled the room with a deafening thunder and roar, the congregation went ABSOLUTELY WILD with worship. When the train passed, they ceased the jubilant moment and composed themselves. This way they couldn't be overheard by neighbors and reported.

I am weeping and rejoicing for all God is doing in China. May God strengthen our brothers and sisters there and may they feel our prayers.

Many on actually would say that, it's not the real Holy Ghost because of this or that.....

I met an official from The True Jesus Church from China at an AWCF meeting in Louisville in the early 80's. They were very conservative then however they were Sabbath keepers if I remember right. Very large group might be larger in number than the UPC and they do missionary works in Asia .

The video footage we have of some meetings in China are so powerful - even more so than this YouTube one. I have never heard such praying, such travail, such intercessory prayer or such worship in my life.

The passion and burden and humility of these people (Holy Ghost filled) is absolutely amazing. When I watched it for the first time I just sat and wept. I have seen and heard a lot during my life in church but never had I ever witnessed what I did on that tape.

These people have what the North American church (for the most part) has lost.

Is is a beautiful expression of freedom that these folks probaly have very little of.... We don't understand those things here...
