When they click on a link. The links have a code built into them which sends to the server who owned the account.

Say someone has a link to a gospel music store on their site. Just by clicking on it by a unique user, the person who owns the website with the link on it gets paid by the gospel music store

Years ago when my daughter was signed by a major record label I was smart enough to register the logical domain name for her. Later the lawyers worked out an agreement where I allowed the record company to use the domain but they had to agree to include a radio button to link to a merchandising site for her that would be mine.
