Hehehehe. Yup! Us pesky Gentiles! It's a wonder God ever bothered with us in the first place!

on the contrary I said he was a respected man, whom I believe to be intelligent. However I think he took the opportunity to degrade trinitarians...

if you can prove the text is out of context... go for it... either way it was said

If I said Mizpeh is so stupid, but has a nice family... its sort of out of context... yet retains the insult(I would never say that by the way)

In regards to not degrading the oneness doctrine... when did I degrade it?

I didn't take that statement to be degrading at all. He was simply stating the Oneness position.

There are distinctions in doctrine between different denominations and to clearly state those disinctions, as long as it is done in a civil and honest manner, is not degrading.

very good post, the outward holiness thing is so different from church to church in the UPC.
John Kershaws church is a good example, the ladies can wear small ear rings and pink lip stick.

Well many would say that they are totally charismatic for that, and lost.

Standards, and the variance is totally different than the oneness/Trinitarian controversy. OP’s state Trinitarians are heretics bound for hell… that seems a little more significant, than mere differences to me
