In
Romans 16:1, the Apostle Paul wrote:
I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a
servant of the church in Cenchrea, 2 that you may receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also.
The word servant is the Greek word diakonos which is word number 1249 in the Strongs Concordance.
Without comment, here are all the other places that word diakonos occurs in our New Testament:
Matthew 20:26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your
servant.
Matthew 22:13 Then the king said to the
servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness
Matthew 23:11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your
servant.
Mark 9:35 And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and
servant of all.”
Mark 10:43 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your
servant.
John 2:5 His mother said to the
servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
John 2:9 When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the
servants who had drawn the water knew),
John 12:26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My
servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
Romans 13:4 For he is God’s
minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s
minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.
Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a
servant to the circumcision for the truth of God,

ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?
