I CANNOT FIND A WAY TO SCRIPTURALLY PROVE THAT HE WILL ACCEPT THIS--SO I CANNOT PREACH IT OR RECEIVE IT--BUT I CANNOT TAKE THE ROLE OF GOD AND BE THE FINAL JUDGE.
Jesus Name baptism is the ONLY SCRIPTURAL WAY. God is sovereign, and I am certain He will be true to His Word--but my logic often falls short and I have to leave the final judgment up to the Judge. I would baptize every single person that I can in Jesus Name, and I will ALWAYS DOUBT that they are saved if they have not been--but I will also always have that lingering hope that there may be some way that God can impute salvation to men and women who have given ALL THEIR LIVES FOR HIM, yet having not known the Truth about baptism. I will NEVER KNOW until I get there.
Was that clear as mud?

NLYP,
The reason why I asked my question about having to be baptized in Jesus name is because you sugested in your post that Happy Goodman would be in Heaven.
I do find it interesting how you and your boy BOOM took the liberty to remove your original post and the post where I had quoted you from this thread. Therefore when Im asking if someone should be baptized in Jesus name it looks like im pulling that question from out of the sky.
Let it be known the only reason I asked was because NLYP started this thread by suggesting the angels would be loving Happy Goodmans piano playing in Heaven.
Its intersting that you two would remove the parts where you could be questioned!

This is your final warning, Sir.

For the record, I am apostolic in doctrine.. Ac. 2:38. I have only baptized in Jesus' name and will not baptize any other way. I encourage people to be water baptized and if they have not been baptized in Jesus' name, I encourage them to consider to do so.
However, I do NOT believe for a moment that God will reject those who have given their lives to Him, some who received the HG speaking in tongues but have not been baptized in Jesus' name. There is a difference between someone turning their back on salvation and someone not understanding a doctrinal "nuance" because God didn't open their understanding for some reason known only to Him.
For us to play judge and jury without having a clue as to what went on in someone's heart, IMO, is worse than preaching another gospel.
I am amazed that there are so many who seem to know who God is allowing in and who He is keeping out of heaven. Would to God, I were THAT close to the throne!

This is virtually identical to our church! Do you know our pastor, Winton Maki? (Many here probably know his brother, Jonathon.)

I also am confused because you do not have a post that was deleted. I checked your profile of all posts you have posted are there and none of them show deleted.
If a post was deleted it would still be there, but show deleted with the date and time it was deleted.
NLYP is confusing Boom deleting duplicate threads of his last night that had nothing to do with this thread. They were threads for Pianoman.
Gowin - are you talking about this thread? http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com...ead.php?t=5861

When someone is alive I will go the mile to the doors of hell if I have to to tell them about the salvation plan.
BUT...once they enter into the valley that David wrote about, I will Not say anything that will say where they spent their eternity.
That just smells of rotten judgmentalism!
That, My Friend, is a line that I will not cross.
I hope to see ALOT of folks up there that were good Christian people that lived their lives to serve and bring glory to Jesus.
Will this happen? God only knows...but I do hope it anyways...

Dan,
It is not about any man. You are trying to take the focus off of what YOU stated. YOU stated that someone that rejected Jesus name baptism was in heaven. After you were called on it, YOU then stated IF. IF means that there is a chance that either the message we hold dear is not the only way, or God's Word is incorrect. Either you believe that it take ALL of ACTS 2:38 for salvation, OR you don't? There is no If's, maybe's, or hopefully's here. Either its in the book, or we stop preaching it.
Call it judgmental all you want. But if you are going to give room that there is even a possibility that someone could be saved outside of Acts 2:38, then you are not as "rock solid" as you think.
