I admit there is some trash on this forum from time to time. But to wreck lives...I doubt it.

I am glad the beautiful building and interior were not at the expense of the sound system. Based on the pics I saw of their sound board it looks state of the art.

I visited one ultra con church where they had beautiful crystal chandeliers but a PA system straight out of a Radio Shack clearance sale!!

That's one thing I don't understand about UC . . . they preach fire and brimstone against watches, rings, tie tacs, money clips, and other excess . . . yet they create these RCC-looking church buildings . . .

I love FPC's building. I have only seen the outside in person but it is very beautiful. The pics of the inside show that is also the case there.

I think ultra cons place such an emphasis on church and pastors in peoples lives that it is kind of a natural thing for them to think that is the place to be lavish if you can afford it.

As long as a church can afford it and continues to support missions and outreach like they should I think a nice building is great. I have been told that Joel Holmes does all that.
