Honestly...what adult behavior. The condescending attitudes are so refreshing. I'm sure Jesus doesn't mind as long as we have 31263549796813 new Bible studies this week.

For those that did not understand the first post on this LONG thread - Here is the post again.

Church Alive of Atlanta is growing weekly and we are in need of a Youth Pastor - Director of Student Ministries with an Apostolic background. We are a Progressive Contemporary Pentecostal Church that is Ministry based. (We concentrate on Biblical and Relevant Ministry rather than endless doctrinal theological rants to prove how WRONG everyone else is and how doctrinally correct we think we are!)

We moved in our new building in Loganville, GA - 6 weeks ago with 60 people and have gained more every Sunday. We had 108 this past Sunday. We really need a Youth Pastor and if you are interested or know someone that is - please PM me or Email me.

Actually, I find this kinda like a soap opera and one person is dying and its taking a very very very long time for them to die already. I mean really...how much story line does one need to get the drift?

And Bishop isn't the one dying either...not anytime soon.

In all fairness your reply to his first post to you was a rant. He's new and you didn't give him the benefit of the doubt but came back at what appeared to be an innocent question as to your beliefs with a defensive scathing diatribe. Perhaps your tired of defending your doctrinal position and feel like everyone who questions you on it is out to get you?

Glory to God for the work He HAS DONE through you. From your own report you are ministering in the full blessing of the gospel. We need more of that the power of God and the truth of God's word. God bless you and the work He is doing in His church in Atlanta.

Since you admit to being the more spiritual of the two, maybe you can extend the hand of forgiveness first because neither of you are acting like sons of God.

Rom 15:29 And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

With all due respect Mizpeh, I have on several occasions admitted the inappropriateness of my tone when first responding to AB's first response to me. Someone suggested his response was an attempt and humor, and I gave the benefit of the doubt and tried to move on, be apologetic and conciliatory... AB's last post (about "who's more apostolic")begged for a retort, but I should have just let it go... my bad (so-to-speak). I am ready and willing to get on right footing with AB. I don't think I would want to do it at the Renaissance Hotel Parking Lot though....

I see this thread is not going away so I thought I would at least read the first post.

I'm progressive and I am young. Is 67 young enough?

Anyway, Lord's blessings be upon you bro. AB in your search for a Youth Pastor in a growing church.

Now, since this thread is 28 pages long, have any of you all been fussin' and a cussin' here on this thread? I think I will go back and read a few pages of it.

When I read AB's first response to your post, I was taken aback with my mouth dropped to the floor! I was hoping things would get better but, man, after all this time you two still were squabbling.

To read this stuff from brothers in the Lord is disheartening. Bless those that curse you and Do unto others....well, you know the scriptures. Just a gentle reminder to be mindful of Who we represent in our words and deeds.

Using some smiley faces helps others to know when things are said in jest. He didn't use any so I took what he said seriously.
