Why are UPC church's so sectarian?

Depends on how big of an area you include in the count, but it's not hard to come up with that many within a short distance from Bloomington.

In general it's not that bad around here.... There are some people that have a corncob farther up their hindend than others do, but in general among most churches there's not a great deal of contempt for others around them....

That doesn't mean that everybody fellowships with each other..... Fellowship in general between churches seems to be a thing of the past in large part. People just don't take time or make any effort to associate with each other anymore.

I wonder how often the Assemblies of God get together and fellowship each other?? I wonder how often the Church of God, and the 20+ baptist Churches get together with their denominational churches and fellowship.

As Cheesehead said above, NO ONE really does a lot of fellowshipping between each other too much anymore.

There's so much politics in the UPC it makes me sick! Some of our UPC are more accepted by other oneness organizations over their own...something's not right here.

It's called an unsurrendered heart. Wanting to be worshipped instead of worshipping Jesus. Elevating ourselves above the master. Holier than God by requiring more than God requires.

I fellowship people. I honestly fellowship more people than anybody else that I know. lol Doesn't mean they all fellowship me though.

Wow...I wonder how much Jesus was dirtied by all those publicans and sinners he hung out with.........or how His message was diluted by all the dialog He had with the Pharisees.......
