Judgment begins at the House of God and since neither are saved it doesn't matter. Their marriage is not their problem it is their birth. They need to be born again like the Bible teaches.

apostolics should have their own NETWORK! as far as I know, a small P.A.W. church out of Iowa has started AON, Apostolic Oneness Network over free-to-air satellite, but it is very unprofessional. Only local services from a small church are broadcast. Imagine a upc network with all the big name preachers and all of the singing talent, choirs, etc. We have enough artistic resources to run and promote apostolic talent 24/7 imo.

Hopefully those that want to advertise or broadcast services are not wanting to do so on "Christian" television. Most would be on a local station wouldn't you think or on a public access station?

I didn't think the law of marriage and divorce originated with the advent of the Church...I thought it was a universal law that was even taught by Moses.
Am I incorrect?!

Well, there's only one way to see that it doesn't happen! Let's argue about it!
First off, I don't think "some" were advocating for Apostolics to necessarily get on the same network as the one to which Jakes referred. They were just advocating "get on TV."
Next point: I personally would shout and do the "shockamoo" thing that StMatt talks about if it were Apostolics that were responsible for shutting down the near monopoly held by that one particular network.

You are correct, Moses allowed divorce because of the hardness of their hearts. So wouldn't it stand to reason that divorce is a heart problem?

You do not have the money or resources to put your church on TV on a regular basis.
"Christian" TV is VERY expensive and does not pay off for the pastor if he does not have GREAT PRODUCT to push.
There is way too much competition and you are NOT up to it!
If you are not a smart salesman - stay off.
If you go on TV - You WILL change your message.
If you go on TV - You WILL change the way you look.
Taping for TV changes the dynamics of a service. Hook up a video camera and start taping every Sunday morning and put it up on your screen - I can promise you it will change things.

Bro AB,
I believe you. I am sure most proponents of tv will not, but I do.
I honestly could care less if the UPCI passes it or fails it, cause folks are gonna do what is in their heart no matter what. Those preachers that want a tv in their home already have one. Those that don't, do not. Those that want to advertise will do so whether it passes or not.

why don't you set the record straight and let us know what you know. I was a big fan of Paula until she started going overboard on "special offerings". My interest is one of a fan, not a heartless critic. I think as a minister she has some responsibility to relate her scriptural foundation. Why did she have a right to divorce if there was no infidelity or abuse??

I said this earlier in a jest, but it could be true.
I can just see it now.............that tv program of that church in my city with 30 members shockamooing all over the tv screen as the song leader sings "Keep On The Firing Line". I feel inspired just thinking of the possibilities.
