Are you selling out?
I just caught the bolded words. Ouch!

No Daniel, I am not selling out. It's just that this is my life, ya know?
It's all I have ever known. I do care about it, and hope it changes for the better.

As I sat in the business meeting today I considered the fact that if I were to walk away, I would lose any voice I have. There are no viable alternatives for fellowship. I would never be comfortable in the NCO because of their tolerance for trinitarianism. I would not be comfortable in the AWCF.

My only other option would be to go independent and have virtually no fellowship.

To say it plain, very few that are liberal on standards see all non OP as lost. I agree with this. But that is a GOOD thing - in fact one of the few things worth liberalizing for...

Many do not.

Many come out of their ultra submissiive state.

With a new zeal for the things of God and the work of the Lord.

It's not anymore about just holding on to the centristic positions!

We should only be judged in our walk with God by how many souls we invite into the kingdom of God and teach them the Word unto salvation!

Not the Word unto centristic political positions.

I many times wish there were men like my Dad still around.

Too bad he has been gone since "78".

I know when he had a position he shared it.

Right. And if we had the several hundred that left in the 90's...

Did he Nathan?

Did he openly admit to having a television?
Did he push for abandoning the AOF?

There is fellowship outside the organization.

Fear drives one to think that God is smaller outside the UPC.

It takes more faith to leave than to stay.

Change does not happen by men trying to change the machine.

Change happens when 156 men step out with revelation.

If they would have stayed, Would the Assembly of God now believe in the Oneness doctrine?

That is the position many are in today.

As you look around the business meeting floor.

I understand business it's my life and has been for 20 plus years.

How many levels are you from ever being heard?
