Still In Shock in Tampa!

I am stunned at this development.

Absolutely stunned.

No debate. No real opposition.

Shocked may be a better word to describe my current frame of mind.

Here is what I am thinking.

1. This resolution was passed by a bloc of voters that is predominantly aged. The org is definitely moving left. This when you consider there were probably less than a hundred men under thirty in the room.

2. The cons hurt themselves by voting against Jordan's amendment. They could have limited the scope of the resolution. They gambled and lost. Huge miscalculation.

3. Brett's brother, Kevin Prince, is very well spoken. I really admired his presentation, even though I disagreed with him.

4. Where was Brother Booker? He never addresssed the men.

yesterday you was saying that you did not believe it would pass and you gave your reasons. nothing wrong with that - just saying, i can see why you're so surprised.

Did booker even go ? i think a lot of CA. Cons didnt even go

many were going to leave regardless of its passage

I predicted that it would pass by 4-5%.

Sadly, I was right.

I think everyone went with their minds made up.

I don't regret voting against the amendment. It wouldn't have been enforced anyway, and I really don't care to build one more loophole to create hypocricy. We already have a manual that we don't enforce. Adding one more technicality for men to abuse didn't appeal to me.

I hope for integrity purposes, that these men didn't vote on the resolution!
