Since I live 2 blocks from Puffjenks I think I can answer for her. They are just fine,as far as bad weather in OK it was a minor storm. The church wasn't damaged,I think some people may have used the weather as an excuse to stay home though lol.

Thank you, BHill. I'm not surprised that some used the weather as their excuse to stay home. LOL that's something that seems to happen no matter where you live, doesn't it!

give my love to Puff, if you will, please. One of these days, when life slows down, I'll give her a call. She's a treasure, you know! You folks are blessed to have her and her hubby as well as her wonderful parents.

Blessings!!

I didn't consider the weather here last night in OK to be bad. I have seen alot worse and for sure would not considere it anything to worry about. To even consider that God might be sending a storm before they meet here in January is ridiculous.

No...but the McDonald's about a mile from the church had both their signs torn up...other than that...limbs down, etc. Our yard is full of small branches, but nothing major. Others weren't so lucky! We were sitting at the gas station close to our house last night about 7:15, and the wind was scooting our car forward! (And moving the truck next to us.)

Definitely WILD WEATHER!!!!

The folks at Oktoberfest didn't fare quite so well...LOL!!! God must have disapproved of all the drinkin'!

I've seen worse, too, but not often. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10 for bad storms. We live in a flat area, and I can see clouds rolling in from several miles around in all directions, and lemme tell ya...we were ready to take cover, and keeping eyes on those clouds. Where we live, out in the country, we can't hear the sirens.

Thank God for TV.

Deacon Purple,

The tornado is just God's punishment for them giving Richard and Lindsay Roberts such a hard time over using the Universities leased private jet to fly their daughter and her friends to the Bahammas and for being so picky about the $800 monthly cell phone bill Lindsay and the girls have. Not to mention the insinuations about Lindsay and young male college studnets. I am sure there are plenty of good reasons a 40ish woman is calling young college guys a lot between midnight and 3 am. I just can't think of any right now.
