New, Exciting Resolution authored by Steadfast!
Inasmuch as yesterday was my birthday and,
Inasmuch as I was tied up with Saints yesterday and a Church service last night and,
Inasmuch as my sons are gone to my youngest son's batchelor 'getaway' (my middle child / youngest son is getting married in a couple weeks) and,
Inasmuch as my daughter is going to the mall with a bunch of girls from the Church,

BE IT RESOLVED that I immediately take the top off my 'toy' (a royal blue 1984 corvette), put my beautiful wife in the said automobile and drive to a choice of either (a) Fogo De Chao (wonderful Brazilian steakhouse/churrascacita) or (b) the best Thai restaurant in the world.

Furthermore, since both places are just a couple hours away in Houston let it be resolved that I take my wife to her favorite 'purse place' while I'm there and let her shop while I simply spend some quality time with my beloved bride.













All in favor, say 'I'?



All against, same sign?















The tabulating committee has determined a sucessful vote; the first 'I' has it by a vote of 1 to 0.

It always trips me out to find out that some of the "ultra-cons" are younger than me! I always imagine them as about 97 years old.
