I don't mind eating in a place where there is a bar...I don't mind drinking a glass of wine from time to time, and sometimes Tequilla, but it is all rare....not that I can't I just don't think of it half the time....in my very young years I did a lot of drinking and really don't want to feel like that again...

I used to wouldn't go to a restaurant that served alcohol/had a bar in it.....till I started hanging out with some IBC students, and then I gave in to doing it...LOL

Sense then I've mellowed and realize it's not some big travesty.

Therefore I will continue to eat wherever I want; I just won't indulge in the alcohol.
Good answer!

Something to consider may be that when a person has had problems with alcohol in the past, it may be best if they are never around it. We never know what tempts a person. For some people, drinking a glass of wine may be okay but for others it could be a disaster.
