We've always been "fixed" rate folks...never put much stock in the gamble of a "Zero" interest or ADJ...one.. seems like most of the Adjustable ones...adjusted most folks right out their house...

Hey it is possible. Our former pastor there.. he wanted this specific house... he ended up just waiting it out and said same thing.. impossible to some but... 4 mos later he got it for right at 60,000 below asking.. It is possible!

Just remember that even if you have to offer more you will still be paying several times less than you would for the same home in Califorinia!!!
(of course you also don't have the great CA weather when things are not burning)

Thanks for the Encouragements...things are looking up...
and I came to Oklahoma for the BBQ...looks like I just missed the statewide one back home.....

I am with Chase and they are just a glorified Credit Card Company.
I was orginally with Wells Fargo and they were good but they sold my loan in the first year to Chase.
I have no experience with GMAC.

Talked with Chase today and opened an Account here with them...Not a fan of their Credit side.... but was approved thru them today too.... so we'll see...
