Right, so it does bring into question just what the two views pour into this word "persons".

The doctrine of the Trinity had to evolve as it still does to this day.
Persons to the Trinitarian are three separate but co-existing beings who make a unified effort. When they say One it's not the literal numeral one.

Go post Oneness doctrine on a trinitarian forum and see how long you maintain posting privileges.

Sir, You have totally misunderstood my first and other posts. I did not ask anyone to defend the Oneness doctrine. I KNOW ONENESS Doctrine! I have DAVID BARNARD'S BOOKS!!!!!!!!!! I know what he teaches and what Oneness doctrine is.
The question I asked is so very simple. It is very elementary. You should not attack me just because I ask a valid question! I honestly want to know the answer. Is that so wrong to want to know who started preaching that Trinitarians believe in three God's?
I know all about the fights and arguments and walk outs and persecution and churches taken from Godly people and the sacrifices made to preach the ONENESS message - we all know that.
The fact remains - At some point - after Trinitarians and Oneness preachers considered each other BROTHERS - somebody, somewhere started preaching that "The Trinitarians believe in Three God's".
We know it was after 1914 because they were all brothers in the A/G for the most part. Even in the PAW - they did not preach in the early years that the A/G and Trinitarians BELIEVED IN THREE GOD'S.
I KNOW that some of you really have convinced yourself that it is true and you have heard it over and over again - but WHERE DID IT COME FROM?
At some point - somebody preached it. Where did it start?

The definition of the Trinity defies this notion.

If it's not tritheism because of careful wording to prevent that accusation being brought to bear on Trinitarians, then the three divine persons who are each self aware of themselves and each other compose a divine Being with multiple personality disorder.

Speaking of which..... Was there anything that Jesus, the Son of God, did not know while he was on earth, that the Father did in fact know?

Rephrasing the questions
We are not debating the Trinity here. I do not believe in the Doctrine of the Trinity - never have - never will. You guys get so outta sorts and think somebody is threatening your doctrine when they ask you a valid question.
WE ALL KNOW WHAT TRINITARIANS BELIEVE! Could we please stop debating that??????????????????? We all know that Persons = Beings and Beings = God's and all that - As I said in the first post - We have all HEARD IT A MILLION TIMES!!!!!!!!!
This is not a debate about the Trinity VS Oneness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Allow me to rephrase the questions:
When did Oneness preachers start preaching that Trinitarians believe in Three God's?
Who preached this to start with?
Where was this first preached?
What year was this first told or preached?
Did this statement begin in the UPC or Independent Oneness ranks?
Where did you hear this for the first time?
How is that? Is that better? I have clarified this many times tonight and want to clarify it again. This is not about defining doctrine or a doctrinal debate - it is valid questions to know the source of this preaching.

Maybe it started when we started speaking in Tongues at Azuza??
Maybe it started when they voted to call Oneness Apostlics Heretical in Doctrine??
Who knows... but if one is looking to prescribe a false sense of guilt to bring about the answer one would like......maybe you'll find one...who knows???

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
Those that believe that every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith
with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
And from the Attitudes Section
Apostolic truth can be questioned but not be mocked.
