Obviously neither one of you read posts! First EB, yo have repeatedly misused the definition of a prophetess highlighting only one of the associative descriptions rather than the actual definition.
Secondly, as many wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction, you wrest my words in an attempt to validate your flawed ideology. If you would have read my post you would have seen that I listed the order of submission under authority HUSBAND first, then Pastor.
There is a reason why I have him on ignore.
I just wish quotes wouldn't show up either....LOL!

So where does 'divinely inspired' begin and end for you?
Well first the Scripture tells us that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" II Timothy 3:16 So in the most narrow definition of "inspired" all of the Bible would fit.
Now a question for you both since you have decided to team up with your insults and innuendoes that because I differ with you (on a point that has nothing to do with salvation anyway) that I am part of a heretical group and preaching false doctrine.
Do you believe that all of the "divinely inspired" Word of God (Bible/Scripture) is to be followed in literal application in every culture, time, and dispensation?

Sister what do you believe concerning what you asked L&F.
This would really help me understand where you are coming from.
What you are trying to present can be a thread all on its own.

Your point has been that they cannot be in the five-fold ministry, is that correct?
Ok, so they cannot be apostles, evangelists, prophets, pastors or teachers. Let's go with that.
That DOES NOT mean they can't evangelize, prophesy, preach or teach! You have no scripture to support that in any way, yet we know there are scriptures that exist that say women can prophesy. We have examples of women evangelizing and teaching (Priscilla) and women preaching (they weren't thrown in prison for burning the turkey).
I gave the definition of 'preach' above. Nowhere in that definition was a pulpit, platform, church building, or even a congregation mentioned. It matters not whether one has an audience of 1 or 1000, if they are in a home setting or the local stadium, if they are standing behind a pulpit or sitting at the kitchen table, preaching is preaching.
From this it is glaringly evident you did not read the short study I posted. It's the same one I just bumped for you.
This is why you get the resistance to your posts. You say things that are not said or even inferred. READ IT, PLEASE.

Bishoph, they won't answer you. They will only continue taking bits and pieces of what you say and make it look like you are saying something else.
L&F can't even answer my simple questions! LOL!
You present your study and I will answer--point by point--every thing you post.
I await your scriptures....

Context, my brother, is the key. I know of few students of the Word that would say differently.
But we are not talking about literalizing the Word. No, you said that some of Paul's writing is not inspired of God. That is no longer an issue of lateralization; now it’s an issue of man's opinion. Your post totally relies on Paul being outside the inspiration of God. You offer no scripture that states your conclusion. Only doubt against Paul’s writings. So the “insults and innuendoes” is not coming from me, but from you.

Okay, there you have it; HO agrees that a woman cannot be elders. And who are elders? apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Seems to sum it up pretty good. Thanks HO for your agreeable 'amen'!
Wonderful....
So now "elders" are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.
Care to provide scripture to support this or do you expect us to just accept your personal opinion as the final authority on the matter?
Give me a break...
