We only have one right now due to renting a building. Hopefully in June we'll be renting our own storefront space though. As soon as we do that, I'll be begging for more. lol My pastor already knows this, we're in agreement that we need more church.

I know if you rent a building it is needed, but after you build a 2.5 mil plant?!?!

I know you're in need of prayer in regard to your health ... I will pray this week especially for this.

I at times find myself wondering how you are doing, as you had such a bad episode with your health not too long ago, and I pray that the Lord will give you health and strength. And, as a real nurse now, I implore you to take care of yourself!!!!

I've finally gotten some medical coverage that will 'kick in' after about 38 more days. I'm going to get a 'check up' I think on day 39...

I've had some crazy episodes with some heart problems (Blood Pressure has been about 228/129 for months now) and I've lost about 45 pounds in the last two months. That would be a good thing if my own Pastor hadn't asked me what kind of diet I was on... and I wasn't on one at all. He's a diabetic and checked my blood sugar... over 600!

The good thing is that I've heard from a few different people (one is a Pastor near here) who found out the congestive heart failure he was having - just like mine - was caused somehow by his undetected sugar problem.

I'm a big, strong man and can generally take about anything but I'm just physically exhausted of fighting this stuff right now. The last few days have been horrendous as I've felt horrible.

In any case, thanks for the prayers and concern!

Now... back to a good, substantive thread...

It won't take long if we start discussing baptism.

It's late nights like this when I'm studying and working on a lesson at the same time I wish that we had one service on Sunday... at about 10 PM that night!

We night owls are such a picky crowd... hehehe

Let me post one last time tonight before wrapping up tomorrow's part of this lesson and heading to bed by saying... IF YOU COULD HAVE READ THE PM'S... that I got during this thread it would SHOCK you... I suspect there were tears typing and reading on a few of them.

I'm blessed double tonight by...
(a) Seeing that real substance is still enjoyed by some at AFF and
(b) Reading some of the most incredible PM's by people who have wonderful insight to our topic at hand!

They didn't know how well 'received' the posts would have been (some thought this might be slammed into another standards thread / others afraid they would be shot at I think) but there were actually three incredible posters who articulated GREAT ideas about returning to God and what hindered their way.

THANK YOU...

Now, I may do this for a few more weeks... let's keep posting as I need all the help I can get!

Steadfast,

I look on the backslider as a lost sheep, someone the enemy has lied to and led astray. Is this how you see someone who backslides? I still consider them to be my brother and my sister and like you said in one of your sermon titles, someone who is struggles. I think the goal in reaching the backslider is restoration in the spirit of meekness and forgiveness.
