Not sure how to answer the what, but the WHERE was Bossier City, La, the WHEN was around 1975, and the Evangelist was Bro. Harry Haygood.

I was 12.
In three months we had over 100 new people recieve the Holy Ghost for the first time. Our church grew from 75 to over 200 and never looked back.
We had been on a 7 day water only fast and a 24 hour prayer chain at the church just prior to revival breaking out.

Around 82 we had revival with Keith Clark and had 76 get the Holy Ghost.
In the 60's Joe Duke preached a tent revival and had 99 get the Holy Ghost. many of those people are still there.

Ok, Pastor Poster..do you mean a "revival" meeting or set of meetings? Or, a spread like wildfire even though there's no evangalist, preacher, teacher, no one but no one except some who seek God and all Holy Ghost fire breaks out in a group of people sort of revival?
I've never been a part of any of the meeting sort of things, to be honest going to a church where God's Spirit moves is still taking some getting used to.... But I am familar with the Spirit of God, or was at one time, and that I can tell stories about if anyone wanted to hear. I can't tell you how many filled with the Holy Ghost though, or even much beyond the first few even though I know the ripples continued much further than I ever saw. I can tell you how to put a nice quick end to something like this too...as I saw it happen.

Steve Munsey was one of my favorite preachers when I was a teenager. he had a way with kids, was able to really get through to them. He did quite a few PK (preachers kids) retreats in CA in the early 80's.
